LOS ANGELES, CA (August 29, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on 7927 Alameda Street near Broadway injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1:04 a.m. at 7927 Alameda Street near Broadway.

According to CHP Officer Sean Lough, a vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and struck a man riding a bicycle. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities said that no descriptions of the hit-and-run vehicle were available as of this moment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
