Injuries Reported in Bellingham Pedestrian Accident on 100 Samish Way
BELLINGHAM, WA (November 12, 2023) – Thursday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on 100 Samish Way injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Samish Way.
According to reports, a car struck an unidentified man.
Meanwhile, the driver was driving north when they struck a pedestrian who crossed the roadway without using the crosswalk.
After the crash, the Bellingham Fire Department took the pedestrian, a 59-year-old man, to the hospital for emergency care. However, the medical status of the man remained unknown at this time.
Also, officers said that rain, darkness, and limited vision, along with the pedestrian not using the crosswalk, played roles in the crash.
