2 People Hurt in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident near 7th Avenue and Camelback Road

PHOENIX, AZ (August 14, 2023) – Sunday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash near 7th Avenue and Camelback Road injured two people.

The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. near 7th Avenue and Camelback Road.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a northbound car struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway mid-block.

Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Then, paramedics transported the car driver to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
