Several Hurt in Killeen Vehicle Accidents on E Stan Schlueter Loop and Trimmier Road

KILLEEN, TX (October 15, 2023) – Friday night, crippling multiple crashes on E Stan Schlueter Loop and Trimmier Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. when a blue Dodge Charger driving east on E Stan Schlueter Loop approached Trimmier Road. Then, the car left the inside lane and struck another car in the outside lane.

Officers confirmed that Charger continued at a high rate of speed and crashed into a vehicle in the left-hand turn only lane in the 1300 block of E Stan Schluester.

After crashing into a third vehicle, the driver of the Charger lost control and collided with a fourth vehicle head-on.

The impact of the last crash led the Charger to burst into flames. Thus, responders transported several people to hospitals with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Also, officers shut down the roadway for several hours to investigate the series of crashes.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
