Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Multi-Vehicle Accident on Vermont Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2023) – Saturday night, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Vermont Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard injured 7 people.
The crash involving six vehicles happened just before 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to LAPD officials, officers were trying to stop a reckless driver when the crash occurred.
Then, responders transported five victims to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Meanwhile, the other two victims sustained minor injuries.
According to some witnesses, they heard police sirens right before one of the vehicles crashed onto the wrong side of the road. However, it’s still unknown if any of the cars involved in the crash were involved in a police chase.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
