Injuries Reported in Cajon Pass Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15

CAJON PASS, CA (November 22, 2023) – Monday morning, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 injured 1 motorcyclist.

The incident happened at around 7:13 a.m. on Interstate 15.

CHP and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department both responded to the motorcycle crash.
Reports confirmed that the incident involved a motorcycle and two vehicles.

Also, the vehicles involved were a silver Honda Civic sedan, a black Volkswagen Tiguan SUV, and a Harley Davidson-type bike.

According to the CHP, the motorcyclist was headed south on I-15 when he started lane splitting. Meanwhile, a vehicle in front of him, cut him off and he struck the back of the VW Tiguan. The impact ejected the rider from his bike and landed in the number 1 and 2 lanes just before the truck escape ramp.

Then, responders took the motorcyclist to the hospital with moderate to major injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
