Injuries Reported in Hopland Multi-Vehicle Accident on Green Bridge and Highway 101

HOPLAND, CA (September 24, 2023) – Saturday morning, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Green Bridge and Highway 101 injured 4 people.

The incident happened at about 1:37 a.m. on Green Bridge and Highway 101.

According to reports, two vehicles crashed into the trailer of a semi-truck blocking lanes of the Green Bridge.

As a result, two patients sustained major injuries. Then, two other patients with moderate injuries.

Then, officials shut down Highway 101 between 1:55 a.m. and 4:18 a.m. as they worked to extricate the involved and clear the roadway. Then, one of the involved vehicles was pulled away from the Green Bridge by a tow truck to free the driver.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
