Injuries Reported in Riverside Multi-Vehicle Accident on 215 Freeway and University Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 4, 2024) – Sunday morning, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on 215 Freeway and University Avenue involved racing drivers.
The incident happened at about 12:45 a.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway and University Avenue.
Officers confirmed that the crash involved racing drivers of three total vehicles, two cars, and a semi truck.
Reports said that a white Dodge has been racing another vehicle. Then, it crashed leading the semi to roll over and struck the guardrail.
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that each party involved was evaluated for minor injuries.
Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
