APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 8, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a crippling motorcycle crash on Highway 18 near Pawnee Road injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 3:20 p.m. in the 21900 block of Highway 18, near Pawnee Road.

According to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, a blue and white colored street bike collided with a semi for still unknown reasons.

As a result, responders transported the motorcyclist to St. Mary’s Hospital where the rider was airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center.

Moreover, the crash caused heavy delays on Highway 18 heading into Lucerne Valley.
