1 Person Hospitalized in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on Gibbs Sprawl Road and Walzem Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 14, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling motorcycle crash on Gibbs Sprawl Road and Walzem Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Gibbs Sprawl Road and Walzem Road.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, a motorcycle and a Ford Mustang collided head-on for still unknown reasons. 

Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
