Injuries Reported in Edinburg Motorcycle Accident on Trenton Road and Interstate Highway 69-C

EDINBURG, TX (April 2, 2024) – Sunday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Trenton Road and Interstate Highway 69-C injured 2 people.

The incident involving a motorcyclist happened just before 8:00 p.m. at the northbound intersection of Trenton Road and Interstate Highway 69-C.

Reports said that the motorcycle was hit behind by a black SUV. Officers believed that the vehicle was a BMW.

According to reports, the black SUV escaped the scene traveling northbound.

Reports said that two occupants of the motorcycle, a man and a woman, were taken to DHR Health with “major injuries.”

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information on the driver or vehicle involved in the hit-and-run to contact the Edinburg Police Department at (956) 289-7700.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
