Injuries Reported in Oceanside Bicycle Accident on State Route 76 and Singh Way
OCEANSIDE, CA (March 19, 2024) – Sunday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on State Route 76 and Singh Way injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 11:35 p.m. near the intersection of State Route 76 and Singh Way.
When the authorities arrived, they located a person with major injuries lying in the roadway next to passing cars.
Then, responders airlifted the victim to a local trauma center, and remained in critical condition as of 2:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Reports also revealed that officers found a bicycle with major damage near the State Route 76 and College Boulevard intersection, two miles down the road from where the pedestrian was found.
Officers suspect that the bicycle is related to the individual’s injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle escaped the scene and remains at large. Also, officers found pieces of a silver Kia at the scene.
