Injuries Reported in Rosemead Multi-Vehicle Accident on Rosemead Boulevard and Mission Drive

ROSEMEAD, CA (May 20, 2024) – Sunday morning, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Rosemead Boulevard and Mission Drive injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 9:27 a.m. at the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Mission Drive.

Three occupants inside one vehicle fled the scene after a crash, while another two people were hospitalized with unspecified injuries, according to Sgt. Jose Arciga. 

Authorities later detained two of the occupants, a middle-aged man and a woman, who were found hiding between buildings and trashcans at Rosemead High School. A third male occupant remains at large. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
