1 Person Hurt in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident on Guerneville Road and Marlow Road
SANTA ROSA, CA (September 14, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Guerneville Road and Marlow Road injured one person.
The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on Guerneville Road and Marlow Road, near Comstock Middle School.
According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, a white four-door sedan turned right onto northbound Marlow Road and struck a female pedestrian who was crossing Guerneville Road with the “walk” indicator illuminated.
Moreover, the vehicle driver pulled over and helped the victim to the sidewalk before fleeing the scene northbound on Marlow Road.
As a result, responders transported the teenage pedestrian to a hospital with minor injuries.
Furthermore, officers said that the suspect is best described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s with “scruffy” facial hair, a light pink t-shirt, and dark-colored jeans.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
