LONG BEACH, CA (August 8, 2023) – Sunday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Broadway and Hermosa Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Broadway and Hermosa Avenue.

According to Long Beach police Lt. Gerrit DeJongh, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported the victim to a hospital in stable condition.

Furthermore, officers said that no description of the suspect vehicle was available as of this moment.
