1 Person Hurt in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on 2400 Imperial Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 29, 2024) – Wednesday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on 2400 Imperial Avenue injured a motorcyclist.
The incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. in the 2400 block of Imperial Avenue.
Reports said that a 36-year-old man in a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveled eastbound.
Meanwhile, an unidentified driver exited a driveway, heading south onto eastbound Imperial Avenue in the same vicinity. According to police, the driver struck a motorcyclist and then fled the scene.
The motorcyclist suffered a dislocated femur and multiple open fractures to his left tibia and fibula. Police stated that his injuries were not life-threatening.
The driver has not been found, and the investigation will be conducted by San Diego Police traffic units.
