Injuries Reported in Jurupa Valley Auto Accident on Granite Hill Drive and Soto Avenue

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (May 17, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a crippling head-on crash on Granite Hill Drive and Soto Avenue injured 3 people.

The incident happened at around 2:00 p.m. on Granite Hill Drive and Soto Avenue, said the Riverside County Fire Department.

According to reports, multiple engine crews responded and determined that two vehicles had impacted in the middle of the intersection.

As a result, responders transported 2 people with major injuries to Riverside Community Hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the third victim sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the downtown Riverside medical center for treatment.

Also, the authorities shut down the intersection because of the wreck.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
