1 Person Hurt in San Bernardino Auto Accident on Cajon Boulevard and Route 66

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 4, 2023) – Friday morning, a crippling head-on crash on Cajon Boulevard and Route 66 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 10:19 a.m. on Cajon Boulevard and Route 66.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV and a Toyota Corolla sedan collided head-on for still unknown reasons. Also, officers reported that one of the vehicles was traveling at a high rate of speed, veered into oncoming traffic, and caused the crash.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
