1 Person Hospitalized in San Antonio Auto Accident on 1600 North Hamilton Avenue

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 4, 2024) – Saturday night, a crippling DWI crash on 1600 North Hamilton Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. on the 1600 block of North Hamilton Avenue.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a southbound Jeep struck a black Ford Explorer that failed the yield the right of way and drove in front of the Jeep.

Moreover, responders rushed a teen passenger of the Jeep, who was not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, to a nearby hospital with serious bodily injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the Jeep on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years old and endangering a child.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Antonio Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
