MODESTO, CA (February 8, 2024) – Tuesday night, a crippling DUI crash on East Briggsmore Avenue and Rose Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened on East Briggsmore Avenue and Rose Avenue.

According to the Modesto Police Department, a Ford Fiesta and a Kia Optima collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the Ford with major injuries and the female driver of the Kia with non-life-threatening injuries to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, authorities believe that the driver of the KIA was driving under the influence when the collision occurred.
