AUSTIN, TX (June 24, 2023) – Friday night, a crippling boat crash on Lake Austin near Pennybacker Bridge injured one person.

The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on Lake Austin, west of Pennybacker Bridge.

According to the Austin-Travis County EMS, an unidentified boat crashed for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responding paramedics transported one person to St. David’s South with serious injuries. Also, a second patient refused further treatment and transport.
