SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 21, 2024) – Monday night, a crippling big rig crash on 5 Freeway near Rye Canyon Loop injured two people.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway in Valencia, near Rye Canyon.

According to reports, a patrol car collided with a big rig for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported two LASD deputies to a hospital with unknown injuries.
