1 Person Hurt in San Diego Vehicle Accident near El Cajon Boulevard and Fairmont Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 23, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a crippling auto crash on El Cajon Boulevard and Fairmont Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. near the intersection of El Cajon Boulevard and Fairmont Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a southbound GMC Penske truck struck a 46-year-old man who was riding an electric scooter and entered the intersection against a red light.
Moreover, responders transported the scooter driver to a nearby hospital with a broken leg. Also, the 67-year-old male driver of the truck sustained no injuries in the collision.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
