RUSK COUNTY, TX (September 18, 2024) – Monday night, a crippling 5-vehicle crash on Highway 79 near Highway 42 injured four people.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 79, near the intersection of Highway 42 and FM 1798.

Reports said that the crash involved a total of five unidentified vehicles.

Responders transported four people to the hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
