INDIO, CA (March 25, 2024) – Sunday night, a crippling 4-vehicle crash on Fred Waring Drive and Clinton Street.

The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Clinton Street in Indio.

Officers said that the cash involving four vehicles injured seven people. Three of the injured sustained serious injuries.

Also, the crash shut down part of Fred Waring Drive west of Clinton during the investigation.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
