75-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized in Pemiscot County Auto Accident on Route D near Caruthersville
PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (November 14, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Route D near Caruthersville injured one person.
The incident happened around 11:00 a.m. on Route D, west of Caruthersville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a westbound Ford F150 collided with a southbound GMC.
Paramedics airlifted a 75-year-old female passenger of the pickup to a Memphis, Tennessee hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the 62-year-old male driver of the pickup, and the 50-year-old male driver of the GMC, were not hurt in the crash.
Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
