ANAHEIM, CA (August 30, 2023) – On Tuesday, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Lemon Street and 91 Freeway injured one person.

The incident happened on Lemon Street and 91 Freeway.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, a BMW traveling at a high rate of speed ran a red light and rear-ended a Mercedes.

As a result, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated trapped individuals inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the Mercedes driver to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Also, the BMW driver sustained moderate injuries in the collision.

Furthermore, the crash closed the intersection of Lemon Street and 91 Freeway but has long since reopened.
