Injuries Reported in Tucson Auto Accident near Cushing Street and S Freeway
TUCSON, AZ (May 25, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a crippling 2-vehicle crash near Cushing Street and S Freeway injured 3 people.
The incident happened near the intersection of Cushing Street and S Freeway.
According to Tucson Police, the incident involved a Ford F-250 pickup and a BMW SUV.
After the crash, responders transported 3 occupants of the BMW to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup received treatment for their injuries at the scene.
Moreover, the authorities confirmed that impairment played a role in the crash. They also noted that the pickup driver will face charges of felony criminal damage.
The crash also temporarily shut down S. Frontage Rd. from W. Congress St. south to W. Cushing.
