2 Sisters Struck by SUV While Crossing Woodland Drive in Crestline
CRESTLINE, CA (January 10, 2019) – Two women were hurt following a pedestrian crash Thursday afternoon in Crestline.
Around 12:36 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire and California Highway Patrol units responded to reports of a vehicle that struck two female pedestrians at the intersection of Crest Forest Drive and Woodland Road, near the Bear House Family Restaurant.
Medic Engine 25 also responded from Station 25 across the street and found the victims who were allegedly hit by an Isuzu Trooper while crossing Woodland Drive.
One woman was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition after the vehicle reportedly ran over her foot. The other woman was thrown from the impact and clearly shaken. The women are sisters.
Westbound Crest Forest Drive until 1:00 p.m. while CHP officials worked on the scene.
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
