Crash on State Route 88 Sends 2 Vehicles Out of Roadway [Ione, CA]

No Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 88 Near Jackson Valley Road

Ione, CA (August 15, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, both vehicles in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 88 went out of the road. 

The collision took place on August 14 on State Route 88 near Jackson Valley Road at about 12:08 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and found two vehicles involved in the collision. According to the report, an orange Toyota Tacoma and a white Ford truck collided for an unknown reason. 

The impact of the collision sent both vehicles out of the roadway. 

CHP initially reported that the incident involved an unknown injury but later, they changed it to a traffic collision removing the injury aspect. 

Further details were not immediately available.
