Police Investigate 4-Vehicle Crash on Wiseman and Cottonwood Way in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (December 28, 2023) – On Thursday night, 3 people sustained injuries in a 4-vehicle crash on Wiseman and Cottonwood Way.

Reportedly, on the way to a call involving a person who had been stabbed more than 30 times in northwest Bexar County, a deputy was part of a four-vehicle crash. 

The deputy was en route to Talon Run, near West Loop 1604 North and Shaenfield Road, when the crash occurred near Wiseman and Cottonwood Way on Thursday night.

BCSO reported that eight people were involved in the “fleet crash,” and three were transported to a hospital, including a child with serious injuries. 

Deputies are uncertain about the cause of the crash.

While responding to the incident, authorities discovered a victim inside a house on Talon Run who had been stabbed more than 30 times. 

The weapon used during the attack remains unclear. The victim, with life-threatening injuries, was transported to a hospital.

BCSO reported that one person was detained at the scene.
