Pedestrian Dead after Crash on West Division Street in Arlington
Arlington, TX (January 3, 2023) -On Tuesday night, a pedestrian died in a crash on West Division Street.
Arlington police responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and discovered a 48-year-old man lying in the roadway.
The man later died from his injuries at a hospital, as police report.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will identify the pedestrian. Police state that the man was crawling across Division Street, not using a designated crossing, just before the pickup struck him.
The reasons for his crawling remain unclear. The pickup’s driver stopped, called 911, remained at the scene, and is not facing any charges related to the crash, as per police.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
