Male Pedestrian Dead after Crash on West Commerce Street in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX (August 4, 2023) – Friday morning, a male pedestrian died in a crash on West Commerce Street.
The fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened at 6:20 a.m. in the 5600 block of West Commerce Street, near South San Felipe Avenue.
SAPD said a vehicle hit the man as he was crossing the road, and he was reportedly not at a crosswalk.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, died at the crash scene.
The driver stopped to render aid and called 911.
Police said the driver is not expected to face charges at this time.
