2 Drivers Hospitalized after Crash on Villa and Fir in Clovis

Clovis, CA (February 2, 2024) – On Friday morning, two drivers sustained injuries in a crash on Villa and Fir.

Reportedly, two individuals are currently hospitalized after a car crash in Clovis, which resulted in a gas leak. 

The incident occurred around 7:30 am Friday at the intersection of Villa and Fir. Upon arrival, Clovis Police discovered that one of the involved vehicles had hit a building, disrupting a large gas line. 

Although the building sustained minimal damage, officers reported a strong gas odor. 

Authorities ordered people inside the building to shelter in place while PG&E was summoned to shut off the gas.

The police cordoned off the villa between Herndon and Alluvial during the spill response. The cause of the accident is currently unclear, but officials expect both injured drivers to recover.
