Motorcyclist Dies After Crash on Val Vista Drive and Boston Street in Gilbert

Gilbert, AZ (July 12, 2024) – On Friday, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Val Vista Drive and Boston Street.

Reportedly, a man died after a car and motorcycle collided in Gilbert on Friday evening, according to the Gilbert Police Department. 

Gilbert police informed 12News that officers and firefighters from Gilbert Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Boston Street, just south of Williams Field Road, around 6 p.m. 

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and later passed away. 

Val Vista Drive was closed between Williams Field Road and Boston Street for the investigation but reopened around 10:15 p.m. 

The deceased man has not been identified.
