Texarkana, TX (March 22, 2024) – On Thursday afternoon, a 1-year-old child died in a crash on the Magnolia Garden Apartments parking lot.

The fatal incident occurred around 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Magnolia Garden Apartments in Texarkana, Texas, according to police. 

Texarkana police reported that the boy wandered around the parking lot when a driver accidentally hit him. 

After the incident, the driver called the Texarkana police, reporting that he did not see the child until it was too late. 

Police are unsure how the child ended up in the parking lot but believe the 1-year-old was unsupervised.
