VISTA, CA (March 19, 2023) – Friday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Taylor Street and Cresthaven Drive.

The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on Taylor Street and Cresthaven Drive. According to reports, a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian crossing a street in Vista.

San Diego Sheriff’s deputies and Vista Fire Department paramedics came to the crash scene.

Sgt. Andrew Brumfield confirmed that the victim crossed east of the intersection. Then, a man driving a Ford Escape struck the pedestrian.

Meanwhile, responders transported the unidentified victim to the hospital. However, the pedestrian later succumbed to injuries.
