Horrifying Crash on Tatum Boulevard Left 5 People Injured [Phoenix, AZ]

Woman Critical after Crash on Tatum Boulevard in Phoenix 

Phoenix, AZ (December 7, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, five people sustained injuries after a crash on Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road.

Just after noon, emergency crews rushed to the intersection of Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road in response to a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll onto the sidewalk, where it struck a woman and a child in a stroller.

Firefighters subsequently transported the critically injured woman and child, along with another man and woman involved in the accident, to a hospital. A fifth person is also reported to be hospitalized. 

Officers state that the woman who was struck sustained the most severe injuries, while the injuries of the other four individuals are not life-threatening.

Detectives are investigating the incident, and as a result, the intersection is anticipated to remain closed for several hours.
