Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Jackson Drive and Lake Badin Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 7, 2023) – Thursday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a truck crash on Jackson Drive and Lake Badin Avenue.
The incident happened at 8:32 a.m. on 6564 Jackson Drive and Lake Badin Avenue.
According to reports, a man driving a truck towed a long trailer west on Jackson Drive. However, the trailer detached from the truck as he approached Lake Badin Avenue.
Then, the trailer went over the center median and into the eastbound lanes.
At the same time, a woman driving the other vehicle in the eastbound lanes couldn’t stop in time. As a result, she crashed into the trailer and the vehicle rolled over several times. Then, it landed on its side.
Thus, firefighters extricated the female driver and took her to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Moreover, the crash shut down eastbound lanes at Lake Badin Avenue.
Meanwhile, the male driver said that he failed to put the safety pin into the trailer hitch. As a result, the trailer hitched until it came off of the truck.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
