2 People Hospitalized after SUV Crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia

Hesperia, CA (December 6, 2023) – On Tuesday night, two people sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 15.

The crash occurred around 8:23 pm on December 5, 2023, on northbound I-15 at the Highway 395 overpass. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded to the scene of the rollover crash.

A witness reported that the driver lost control, swerving into a semi-tractor trailer after encountering wood debris in the traffic lanes. 

The SUV then collided with the guardrail along the right shoulder of the freeway, subsequently rolling over multiple times off the freeway.

Emergency services transported two individuals with unknown injuries to a local hospital via ground ambulances, while the semi-driver did not report any injuries.

Further details on both incidents will be provided upon the availability of the CHP’s preliminary accident report. 

The California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office, will conduct investigations into both incidents.
