Orange, TX (January 18, 2024) – On Thursday, a woman sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 62.

The incident occurred as the 18-wheeler exited a truck stop and the car collided with it, as stated by a firefighter from Orange County Emergency District 4.

Following the collision, the car became wedged under the 18-wheeler, trapping the female driver inside.

 Firefighters, employing the jaws of life, successfully extricated the woman from the car. 

Emergency services then transported the woman to a hospital; her injuries, thankfully, did not seem life-threatening.

The Texas Department of Transportation is currently investigating the crash.
