1 Person Critically Injured after Crash on Highway 395 in Adelanto

Adelanto, CA (November 3, 2023) – Late Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 395 and Mojave Drive intersection.

CHP dispatch reported the crash shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2023, involving a white Volkswagen Beetle and a black Chevy Camaro.

Firefighters requested a rescue helicopter for a person with critical injuries, who was subsequently flown to a trauma center.

Rescue workers treated a woman from the bug for an arm injury before she was taken by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the Camaro was arrested after California Highway Patrol officers found a weapon during a search of the vehicle.

Further investigation is ongoing.
