Ashley King Arrested after DUI Crash on Highway 292 in Loon Lake
Loon Lake, WA (December 21, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, 33-year-old Timothy King sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 292.
According to WSP, at around 2 a.m., 27-year-old Ashley King of Chewelah was driving east on Highway 292 near Highway 395 when she lost control at a curve.
The vehicle slid off the road into a ditch, colliding with a tree. Both Ashley and passenger, Timothy, were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
WSP notes that Timothy was not wearing a seatbelt.
WSP further indicates that the vehicle was traveling at an excessive speed given the conditions, and there is suspicion of drugs and/or alcohol involvement.
Ashley is now facing charges of vehicular assault.
