Devastating Crash on Highway 138 Injures 2 People [Hesperia, CA]

2 People Hospitalized After Crash on Highway 138 in Hesperia

Hesperia, CA (June 7, 2024) – On Friday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 138.

The crash occurred at about 12:44 pm on Friday, June 7, approximately 2 miles away from Interstate 15. The two vehicles involved were a green Chevrolet Silverado or GMC pickup truck and a white Chevrolet Tahoe.

According to the CHP Traffic Log, the green pickup truck took the turn fast, lost control, and rolled over after hitting the guardrail. 

The white Tahoe was traveling westbound; the driver wasn’t able to stop and crashed into the pickup. San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters arrived on the scene and requested two ambulances to transport. 

It was reported that two people were transported with major to minor injuries. CHP stated that speed may have been a factor in the wreck.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office. 

Additional details were limited at this time. Further investigation is ongoing.
