Injuries Reported in Eureka Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 near Tompkins Hill Road

EUREKA, CA (March 1, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Tompkins Hill Road.

The incident happened at around 12:25 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 near the Tompkins Hill Road exit.

According to reports, several vehicles spun out and had traffic crashes on the highway. Thus, authorities rerouted the southbound traffic through Tompkins Hill Road.

Meanwhile, authorities requested an ambulance since two patients sustained moderate injuries.

The California Highway Patrol also stopped the southbound traffic as they brought in multiple tow trucks to the scene.
