El Cajon, CA (December 22, 2023) – On Thursday night, a pedestrian died in a crash on East Washington Avenue.

The incident occurred at around 10:35 p.m. on East Washington Avenue near South Lincoln Avenue.

The driver of the Toyota Camry, which struck the man, stayed in the area and cooperated with officers, as confirmed by El Cajon police.

 Unfortunately, the pedestrian, a 34-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries before being transported to a hospital.
