1 Person Injured after Crash on East Fancher Creek Drive in Fresno

Fresno, CA (January 12, 2024) – On Friday afternoon, one person sustained injuries in a crash on East Fancher Creek Drive.

The Fresno Fire Department reports a spill of two gallons of pool cleaning material in a Fresno neighborhood following a crash. 

Firefighters, along with the Hazmat team, responded to a motor vehicle accident around 1:30 p.m. 

This incident involved a vehicle and a pool cleaner truck near E Fancher Creek Drive, in the vicinity of Fowler Avenue and Kings Canyon Road.

The pool cleaner truck spilled two gallons of muriatic acid, a common pool cleaning material. 

One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries to their leg. 

The Hazmat team is actively working to neutralize and clean up the affected area.
