Police responded to the incident around 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Creath Place. The San Antonio Police (SAPD) reported that a 72-year-old man, who was hit while engaged in lawn care, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

SAPD detained a potential suspect at the scene of a second crash. 

The investigation remains ongoing, and SAPD indicates that the suspect may face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
