2 People Hospitalized after Crash on Corral Hollow Road in Tracy

Tracy, CA (January 14, 2024) — On Sunday, a Tracy police officer sustained injuries in a crash on Corral Hollow Road.

The Tracy Police Department reported that one of their officers was hospitalized on Sunday following a crash while on duty. 

According to a department news release, the crash occurred as officers responded to a stolen vehicle report near Corral Hollow Road and Grant Line Road just after 6 a.m. 

The police stated that the officer, driving a marked patrol SUV south on Corral Hollow Road, was hit by a Toyota whose driver ran a red light.

At the time of the collision, the officer was adhering to the speed limit and was not using emergency lights or sirens.

Both the Toyota’s driver, who had to be extricated from her vehicle, and the officer sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital.
