Albuquerque, NM (August 30, 2024) – On Friday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on Coors Boulevard SW.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash team responded to a deadly collision involving a pedestrian on Coors Boulevard SW. 

The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. According to a preliminary investigation, a silver Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Coors Blvd SW when it struck an adult male pedestrian attempting to cross the street from west to east near Gonzales Road.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased. 

Both the driver and a witness remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

The investigation is ongoing as officers continue to gather and analyze evidence from the scene.
